Generosity
Generosity is one of the key ways Jesus teaches us to embrace the kingdom of God and to resist our selfish impulses. We can be generous by supporting our church and by supporting others around us. Shiloh Neighborhood Church is committed to generosity through supporting our church members in need, giving to our denomination’s district to support other churches, and giving to international work. We have adopted the biblical principle of tithing (giving ten percent), not as a requirement, but as a practice steeped in wisdom. If you’d like to join us in generosity, here are three ways to give:
BILL PAY
If your bank account provides Bill Pay, it is a great way to participate in giving to Shiloh Neighborhood Church. This option allows you to monitor your giving from your checking or savings account, and you don't need to worry about bringing a check on Sunday. You are able to update or change the amount given just by contacting your bank, something you can do online with most banks.
Plus, 100% of the money you give goes to Neighborhood Church, since there are no processing fees.
ONLINE GIVING
If you would like to give through our website, we accept donations through PayPal. Just click the button below to get started. When you give through PayPal, a small portion of what you give does go to PayPal as a processing fee, instead of going to the church.
Cash & Checks
You can always give to Shiloh Neighborhood Church by cash or check. You can drop your offering in one of the offering boxes on Sunday, or you can mail your gift to:

FINANCIAL OVERSIGHT
We take very seriously the stewardship of the finances entrusted to Shiloh Neighborhood. Our Governing Board oversees all financial decisions. They oversee all major budgeting decisions and help direct the finances of the church, prayerfully, towards God's vision and mission for our church. As a part of the Central Pacific District of the Christian & Missionary Alliance, our financial numbers are also viewed by both district and national offices.
BENEFITS TO GIVING ONLINE
There are several benefits to online giving for both you and our church. Some of them are. . .
Faithfully Honoring God - When you sign up to give online you are deciding in advance to faithfully give. God always blesses that kind of faith! The Bible teaches that we are to honor God with the “First Fruits” of our labor (Proverbs 3:9). By setting up a recurring contribution (i.e. through your bank)that is scheduled to come out of your account on the day you specify, you can ensure that your First Fruits are faithfully given back to God.
Simplicity - You won’t have to remember whether you gave this month or send in an offering by mail when you’re on a trip.
Security – We utilize an encrypted secure website for your online records. Online giving is more secure than giving with a check or cash because an electronic gift can’t be lost or stolen.
Focus – Instead of having to worry about writing a check and filling out an envelope during the service, you can be fully focused on the worship service, knowing that you have already given your offering.
